Plaid's Revenue team is looking for an experienced professional to manage and grow strategic partnerships with customers within our Fintech vertical. The customers in this vertical are transforming how consumers interact with their financial lives, and you'll have the opportunity to help them succeed with support from our Sales, Technical Account Management, and Product teams.

The Fintech Account Management team at Plaid leverages our deep technical, product, and industry knowledge to help our customers build and scale amazing applications. We act as partners, advisors, and advocates for our customers. The right candidate has the ability to build strong partnerships with their customers, be able to develop a deep understanding of their priorities, motives and key drivers, is solutions oriented, and has demonstrated success owning and growing strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

In this role, you will own a book of business of Fintech customers. You will be the primary point of contact for your customers and will work with them on all stages of integrations, scaling, driving adoption, product expansion, and account management. You will be responsible for working directly with key stakeholders ranging from developers to executives to help them create the applications that will empower businesses and consumers with their financial data. Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading key customer touchpoints such as Executive Business Reviews and regular check-ins, managing renewals, and partnering with your Sales counterpart on upsell and expansion opportunities within your book of business.

    • Developing expertise in your customers' businesses to ensure they're maximizing the value they get from their partnership with Plaid
    • Solving complex customers challenges through creative problem solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams
    • Managing successful and consistent renewals, as well as identifying and executing on new growth, upsell/cross-sell, and expansion opportunities with customers
    • Advocating for our Fintech customers internally to ensure strong alignment between our organizations
What Excites Us
    • 5+ years of account management / relationship management experience; previous experience working with startup/fintech companies within a b2b tech environment is a strong plus
    • Knowledge of the fintech industry and how startups are using technology to enhance financial services and processes for end customers
    • Proven track-record of successfully driving results with multiple levels of external stakeholders, from day-to-day contacts to executive-level decision makers
    • Ability to effectively communicate and drive results with external and internal stakeholders
    • Ability to collaborate internally and exhibit a "win as a team" mentality
    • Interest in financial services and technical products; a high degree of intellectual curiosity
$88,000 - $119,300 a year
Target base salary for this role is between $88,000 and $119,000 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
