About this role

BlackRock is the #1 Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) provider globally with $2.6 trillion in assets under management in its iShares line of ETFs and approximately 35% share of the global ETF market.

With more than a decade of ETF innovation and expertise, iShares is a trusted leader in the ETF industry. We serve investors of all sizes, including advisors, personal investors, wealth managers, banks, asset managers, pensions, and insurers. The platform offers clients a comprehensive range of products that provide precise, transparent and cost-efficient access to a full range of asset classes and global markets.

Role, Impact and Responsibilities

BlackRock's public facing websites are our most scaled venues for meeting fund data related regulatory requirements and distributing marketing content at the firm. As demand for ETFs and supporting fund data accelerates, delivering this combination of scale and detail in a quality and risk controlled way requires a world class operating model across iShares and supporting business partners and processes.

Aligned with this vision, the U.S. iShares Product Governance team's mission is to drive our thinking in how we represent our products to the world through data, supported by an engagement model built for scale, resiliency and long-term growth. This role will build on this mission, by driving initiatives that reinforce our support model while overseeing day to day web data needs.

This role reports to the head of U.S. iShares Product Governance and requires a risk-aware, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to drive tight collaboration across the broader BlackRock ecosystem to progress initiatives. Responsibilities include:
  • Own and manage commercial, operational and regulatory product page initiatives with partner teams
  • Troubleshoot and drive the resolution of web data issues; evaluate and implement measures to mitigate the risk of recurrence
  • Research and respond to data inquiries from clients and partner teams
  • Work with Product Governance leadership to continuously evaluate and improve our approach to data oversight as requirements evolve
  • Manage dashboards that keep partners updated on initiatives and provide insights into ongoing issues

This is a dynamic role with the opportunity to help catalyze our vision for product data at scale and define how our people, processes and technology should be organized to deliver.

Qualifications and experience
  • BA/BS required
  • Ability to build relationships within the firm and drive business outcomes through strong coordination across technology teams, sales, product teams and regional business leads
  • Strategic and analytical with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate and communicate complex concepts into simple terms
  • Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a 'student of the markets' mentality
  • Demonstrated track record of driving results and working collaboratively through difficult problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Our benefits

To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.

Our hybrid work pilot

BlackRock's current hybrid work pilot is designed to help you experience the best of both worlds: the opportunity to connect with colleagues in person and the flexibility to work remotely, with greater time to focus on what's important to you. In line with local health guidance and regulations, employees are generally expected to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home (on average) each week. For some business groups, more time may be required in the office, while greater flexibility may be in place for others. Our "One BlackRock" culture means you'll be supported to collaborate with your new colleagues while bringing your full self to work - wherever you are.

The health, safety and well-being of our people will always be our top priorities; we will continue to monitor local conditions and health advisories in making decisions about our work environments.

About BlackRock

At BlackRock, we are all connected by one mission: to help more and more people experience financial well-being. Our clients, and the people they serve, are saving for retirement, paying for their children's educations, buying homes and starting businesses. Their investments also help to strengthen the global economy: support businesses small and large; finance infrastructure projects that connect and power cities; and facilitate innovations that drive progress.

This mission would not be possible without our smartest investment - the one we make in our employees. It's why we're dedicated to creating an environment where our colleagues feel welcomed, valued and supported with networks, benefits and development opportunities to help them thrive.
