Business Development – Solutions Business Lead
Role and responsibilities: Will work closely with QVR’s Head of Business Development, COO/CCO and CIO to grow QVR’s Solutions Business and improve QVR’s client and prospect experience.
Support new business and product development, including:

Collaborate with CIO and Head of Business Development to improve the design and delivery of customized derivatives overlay strategies for large clients in our Solutions business
Coordinating day-to-day delivery of QVR’s Solution Business, including:
-
Ensuring timely responses to prospect and client requests
-
Prepare for and participation in client portfolio performance reviews and market reviews
-
Evaluate risk reports, scenario analysis and performance attribution for inclusion in prospect and client materials
Maintain strong relationships with industry and client contacts and increasing QVR’s brand image, which requires:
-
Design and collaboration on forward thinking marketing materials with Head of Business Development and CIO

Coordination and implementation of educational webinars, client round tables and various media opportunities
Requirements:
-
10+ years experience in a business development/marketing/client service role (more experience desirable but not required)

Strong work ethic, willingness to get work done during non-U.S. work hours for global clients, ensuring a timely response

Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal and external contacts

Demonstrated ability to distill complex ideas into compelling and easy-to-digest language
-
Creativity to translate strategy and ideas into appealing visual presentations and content, engaging target audience
Desirable:

Knowledge of relevant topics in derivatives and related portfolio management techniques

Working knowledge of alternative markets and general hedge fund universe

Programming skills (python)
